I am Jacob.
You could call I am Jacob AllTrades…except I don’t do qualified tradework, also my name is Jacob Stone.
My Background
Originally born in Sydney, NSW. My family relocated to the Northern Rivers of NSW when I was young. I have an older half-sister, but was the oldest of the four boys in the house growing up. I went to a small primary school before going to St John’s College for secondary school where I started working in events both at school and in my community. After secondary school I studied digital media design and information techonolgy before moving to Brisbane.
In my early 20’s I wanted to gain as much varied experience as I could. So when I moved to Brisbane I worked in tele-marketing, retail, warehousing, safety, hospitality and sales. All while maintaining work in various events and doing freelance webdesign and graphic work.
After 4 years in Brisbane I relocated back to the North Coast of NSW to begin studying my Bachelor of Business in Event and Convention Management. I graduated in September 2019 and am now looking to get involved with new and exciting ventures.
What I do!
I am always trying new things, but my main focus is events. Using my vast experience from a range of sectors, I try and bring new and exciting oppotunities to each organisation I work with.
One of my biggest motivators when working in events is creating systems that reduce the double handling and manual processes of event work. This not only reduces costs, but leads to less errors.
In saying that, don’t be suprised to find me running a sound system, building a wooden phone speaker, painting a random item, or trying my hand at spontonus power generation.
